Al-Hilal team snatched a valuable victory from its guest Al-Khaleej, with a score of 1-0, in the match that brought them together this Friday evening at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh, within the tenth round of the Roshan Professional League.
Al Hilal's only goal came against Al Khaleej, scored by its Serbian striker and top scorer, Aleksandar Mitrovic, in the 30th minute.
Al-Hilal continues to maintain its lead in the league standings with 26 points, three points behind its closest rivals, Al-Taawoun, while Al-Khaleej’s balance stops at 9 points in 12th place.
First half:
Al-Hilal entered a dangerous offensive manner through Salem Al-Dosari in the fourth minute with a strong shot, but goalkeeper Marwan Al-Haidari blocked it, and four minutes later, Mitrovic received a pass inside the penalty area to confront the goalkeeper, but he shot hard wide of the goal.
Al-Hilal had the best chance to score in the 14th minute. Malcolm was alone in the goal and shot after passing goalkeeper Al-Haidari, but Saeed Al Hamsal valiantly kept the ball away before it reached the net.
Al Hilal striker Mitrovic followed with a header that went dangerously close to the right post.
Al-Hilal continued its dangerous attacks through Mitrovic and his teammates, but the defense and goalkeeper Marwan Al-Haidari were on time.
Before the 30th minute, a first goal for Al Hilal was scored by Serbian Aleksandar Mitrovic after a corner kick taken by Ruben Neves. Defender Khabrani tried to clear it, but it fell on Mitrovic’s head, who placed it brilliantly to the left of the goalkeeper.
The Gulf team tried to adjust the score, but its attacks ended at the feet of the Al Hilal players.

Al Hilal almost added a second goal through Savic after he exchanged passes with his compatriot Mitrovic inside the penalty area. Savic shot and a dangerous pass went near the right post in the 53rd minute.
Al-Khaleej responded with a very dangerous attack, after Fabio Martinez passed with great skill from Koulibaly and went one-on-one with goalkeeper Yassine Bounou and shot with his right force, but Bono valiantly blocked it.
Al-Hilal attempted continuous dangerous attacks on the Gulf goal, but it dangerously missed the goal.
In the 65th minute, Mitrovic followed up a perfect cross with a powerful header, but goalkeeper Marwan Al-Haidari brilliantly blocked it and it rebounded to Saud Abdul Hamid, who recklessly shot wide of the goal.
The great threat continued through Mitrovic, Malcolm and Michel on the Gulf goal, but the Gulf defense and goalkeeper were on time.
Al-Hilal scored a second goal through Salem Al-Dosari, but the referee canceled it after returning to the mouse technique and stopping for more than 3 minutes to review the game, due to the ball leaving its entire circumference from the field.
Ali Al-Bulaihi, Al Hilal’s defender, blocked a dangerous ball from the Al-Khaljawi team in front of the goal very bravely in the 86th minute.
