The official disrupting these phones in Egypt within hours

The National Communications Regulatory Authority announced the start of the implementation of new procedures that lead to disrupting the unlikely mobile phones within its database, in a move that will greatly affect many users inside the country who entered mobile phones after December 31, 2024, as this step came in the framework of combating smuggling mobile phones, and to enhance the local manufacturing means of mobile phones inside Egypt.
The latest statement issued by the National Communications Regulatory Authority explained that the device will guarantee this step that all the devices traded inside the Egyptian market will be committed to the regulations and laws in force, starting from the date of April 7, 2025, where the National Communications Regulatory Authority will stop the violating devices whose owners have not been paid to the established fees, on all mobile networks operating in Egypt. The next few hours, during which all unregistered phones will be disabled within the NTRA database database, while the owners of the phone that have not been registered, whether new or used, should register their devices via the Ministry's phone application to know the prescribed fees and must be paid to avoid preventing the work of the phone on the four mobile networks operating in Egypt. Part of the security and economic measures through which the Egyptian government seeks to reduce the smuggling of mobile phones, and to ensure that the Egyptian market is free of illegal devices
