The mother of the Palestinian journalist, Wael Al-Dahdouh, died while she was in the Gaza Strip.

Khuloud Wael Al-Dahdouh said, in what she wrote via the “Story” feature on Instagram: “My grandmother, the mother of my father, has passed away to God’s mercy. We ask you to pray for mercy for her, and to pray for my father to be patient and steadfast, God willing. We belong to God and to Him we shall return.”

The death of journalist Wael Al-Dahdouh’s mother comes after a series of successive humanitarian shocks with the death of many members of his family, including his wife, two of his sons, a daughter, and his grandson.
