Putin: Ukraine tried to attack the Kursk nuclear plant

Russian President Vladimir Putin accused Ukraine of trying to attack the nuclear plant in the city of Kursk, at a time when Kiev forces have been launching a massive attack on the region for more than two weeks.
This came according to Reuters during Putin's meeting with members of his government and the governors of the regions bordering Ukraine.
Putin said: “The enemy tried to strike the nuclear plant during the night,” without providing evidence of this, adding, “The International Atomic Energy Agency has been informed.”
