Ukraine announces the interception of 5 missiles and 60 drones in intense Russian bombing

Ukraine announced on Tuesday that it had intercepted five missiles and 60 drones launched by Russia in an intense aerial bombardment targeting its territory for the second night in a row.
Ukrainian Air Force Commander Mykola Oleschuk reported on social media platforms that Russia launched a total of 91 projectiles, including ten missiles and 81 drones, “during the night of August 27, 2024.”
