US sanctions target Israeli settlers in the West Bank

The United States decided, on Wednesday, to impose new sanctions on Israeli settlers in the occupied West Bank, demanding that Tel Aviv confront these “extremist” groups accused of fueling violence.
The US State Department stated, in a statement, that this new package of sanctions specifically targets the “Hashomer” non-governmental organization accused of providing material support to an informal settlement in the West Bank.
