Typhoon Yagi is one of the strongest cyclones to hit Asia in 2024.
It began forming in the eastern Philippines in early September, sweeping across the island of Luzon, killing dozens, and then moving toward China, where strong winds and heavy rain injured dozens and left hundreds of thousands without power.
After that, it continued its path towards Vietnam, where it reached a maximum speed of about 234 km/h and led to the deaths of dozens and economic losses estimated at $1.6 billion
