Jewish extremist settlers stormed, on Sunday morning, the courtyards of the Blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque - the Holy Mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem, under the protection of the Israeli occupation police.
The Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem said in a statement that dozens of extremist settlers stormed Al-Aqsa in groups, carried out suspicious tours, and performed provocative Talmudic rituals there.
Al-Aqsa is exposed every day, except Friday and Saturday, to incursions by colonists under the protection of the occupation forces, in two periods, morning and evening, in an attempt to change the status quo at Al-Aqsa and to try to divide it in time.
Old Jerusalem and its gates are also witnessing strict military measures, represented by careful inspection of citizens and worshipers in Al-Aqsa and attacks on them, the latest of which is laying foundations for the construction of an electric elevator at a distance of 200 square meters from the Buraq Wall towards Al-Aqsa Mosque, to facilitate the incursions of extremist settlers.
