The UAE had previously said that its ambassador's headquarters in Khartoum was attacked by a Sudanese army plane, causing serious damage to the building.
The Sudanese army denounced the UAE's accusation that it bombed the headquarters of the Emirati ambassador in Khartoum.
He said in a statement issued on Monday that he denounces and rejects this accusation, adding that “those shameful and cowardly acts” are being carried out by the Rapid Support Forces, as he put it.

The UAE condemned this "brutal attack." The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that the attack caused severe damage to the building.
The statement stated that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed “the importance of protecting diplomatic buildings and the headquarters of embassy personnel in accordance with the customs and charters that govern and regulate diplomatic work.”
