An officer and a soldier were killed during the attack, then a third and fourth soldier died, before the Bahraini army announced the death of the fifth soldier.
On September 26, the Bahraini king called on the Houthi group to hand over those responsible for attacking its forces on the southern Saudi border, describing the attack as a “treacherous criminal act” during the UN truce.
