A 4.5 magnitude earthquake hits Chile

An earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale struck San Antonio province in Chile today.
The US Geological Survey reported that the epicenter of the earthquake was 52 kilometers from the city of Valparaiso, located in the province, and at a depth of 23.7 kilometers.
There were no reports of human casualties or material damage as a result of the earthquake.
