An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale struck off the western coast of Indonesia on Sunday morning.
The Indonesian Meteorological and Climatological Agency reported that the earthquake occurred 69 kilometers southwest of Bengkulu, at a depth of 31 kilometers.
There were no immediate reports of human or material losses as a result of the earthquake.
