Later, the agency explained that the raid on the Jnah area targeted the Al-Mayadeen Channel office, which was completely destroyed and located in an apartment in a residential building. Noting that the office was targeted by two missiles and fire broke out inside the apartment.
The channel had evacuated its office in Beirut since the start of the Israeli bombing of Lebanon, and a security cordon was imposed in the area by the Lebanese army, and the road that had been closed as a result of the rubble of the bombing was reopened.
On the other hand, the Lebanese Hezbollah announced that it had confronted an Israeli infiltration attempt in southern Lebanon.
The party said, in a statement according to the Lebanese National Agency, that its members clashed with machine guns and missiles with Israeli forces that attempted to infiltrate Lebanese territory, from the eastern outskirts of the town of Aitaroun, explaining that the Israeli infantry force retreated behind the border, and was bombed during the withdrawal.
