Polling stations have opened their doors in large parts of the United States for voters to choose whether Republican Donald Trump or Democrat Kamala Harris will be their country's president during the next four years.
Voters in states including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maine, Virginia, Kentucky and Indiana can begin casting their ballots beginning at 6 a.m. local time (11:00 GMT).
Early voting had already begun weeks ago in many states, allowing residents to vote in person at designated sites, or by sending a vote by mail.
According to what American media reported, citing statistics issued by election officials and research centers, there are more than 75 million people who have already made their decision.
In total, there are about 240 million people entitled to vote in elections.
