At a time when it expanded the scope of its ground operation in Gaza, the Israeli army announced on Wednesday that 15 soldiers had been killed in the ongoing battles in the Strip.
An army spokesman said, “15 soldiers were killed in the military operation in the Gaza Strip since Tuesday,” according to Agence France-Presse.
Al-Qassam explained on Telegram that it had “killed” 3 Israeli soldiers from “zero distance.”
Al-Qassam also reported that it had bombed an Israeli command center northwest of Gaza with mortar shells, and later announced that it had bombed Tel Aviv in response to the “massacres” against civilians.
The Al-Qassam Brigades also said that they carried out an engineering attack inside the Abu Mutaybaq military site and were able to bring down the main observation and communications tower.
The Al-Qassam Brigades had previously reported that its fighters had destroyed four Israeli vehicles and eliminated a foot force stationed inside a building in Beit Hanoun in the Gaza Strip.

It is noteworthy that Israel imposed a strict siege on the Gaza Strip, crushed it with intense bombardment and air strikes, and began carrying out ground incursions in retaliation for an attack carried out by Hamas on October 7.
More than 8 thousand dead
1,400 people were killed in Israel, most of them civilians, who died on the first day of the attack, during which Hamas took 240 hostages, according to the Israeli authorities.
As for the Palestinian side, the devastating Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip resulted in the deaths of 8,525 people, most of them civilians, according to the latest tally of the Ministry of Health in the Hamas government that controls Gaza
