The Israeli army launched two air strikes on the southern suburb of Beirut on Sunday, about an hour after issuing an evacuation warning, according to what the official Lebanese National News Agency reported.

For its part, the Israeli army confirmed, on Sunday, that Hezbollah fired about 160 projectiles from Lebanon towards northern and central Israel, wounding several people.
The army said in a statement, “As of three in the afternoon, about 160 projectiles fired by the Hezbollah organization crossed over from Lebanon into Israel today,” while the Israeli ambulance service reported that among the wounded was a person with injuries ranging from “moderate to serious.”

This came according to various statements by the party published on the Telegram platform, in a remarkable escalation, as the number of targets exceeded 15 as of Sunday afternoon.
The party reported that its members targeted with missiles the Glilot base (headquarters of Military Intelligence Unit 8200), located on the outskirts of the city of Tel Aviv in central Israel.
The party stated that it also targeted the Palmachim base, south of Tel Aviv. He said that the Palmachim base "belongs to the Israeli Air Force, and contains squadrons of unmanned aircraft and military helicopters, a military research center, and the Hatez air and missile defense system."
Hezbollah fighters launched “for the first time, an air attack that hit its targets accurately, via a squadron of assault marches, on the Ashdod naval base (south), which is about 150 kilometers away from the Lebanese-Palestinian border,” according to a statement.
The party also launched an air attack with a swarm of attack and missile drones, a new operations room for the Israeli army in the Metulla settlement (north), and a “military target in Tel Aviv,” which it did not specify.
This comes while an Israeli woman was injured in the Western Galilee, while a factory in the same area was damaged as a result of rockets fired from Lebanon towards the Western and Upper Galilee (north), according to Israeli media.
