Israeli fighters targeted a convoy of ambulances carrying wounded in front of Al-Shifa Hospital and preparing to head to the Rafah border crossing to receive treatment in Egypt.

Palestinian media and the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that the gate of the Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza was subjected to an Israeli bombing, leaving dozens dead and wounded.

Palestinian media said, “Israeli bombing targeted the gate of the Shifa Medical Complex in the Gaza Strip.”

Video clips showed pictures of dozens of victims on the ground amidst the shock of the civilian population who rushed to the site of the Israeli bombing.

Israel has pressed to evacuate hospitals and issued bombing warnings over the past few days, but hospital doctors refused to heed the warning, saying that transporting the wounded would threaten their lives.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza said, “Dozens of people were killed and wounded in an Israeli attack on a convoy of ambulances transporting seriously wounded people in Gaza.”
