The leader of Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham calls on Iraq to distance itself from the Syrian war

The leader of the Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham organization, Abu Muhammad al-Julani, on Thursday called on Iraqi Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani to distance Iraq from the Syrian war and prevent sending fighters from the Popular Mobilization Forces to support the Syrian regime forces.
Al-Julani appeared in a video clip, posted by the opposition faction leadership’s account on Telegram, while watching on his phone excerpts from a speech by Al-Sudani in which he talked about “monitoring” what is happening in Syria.
Al-Julani said, “There are many fears and illusions that some Iraqi politicians believe that what is happening in Syria will spread to Iraq. I say emphatically that this matter is 100 percent wrong.”
