"Occupation of Syria"... Egypt condemns the Israeli move in the Golan

Egypt, on Monday, condemned what it described as Israel’s “seizure” of the buffer zone with Syria and its neighboring leadership positions.
The Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in an official statement that Israel’s control of this region represents “an occupation of Syrian territory, a flagrant violation of its sovereignty, and a clear violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement.”
Egypt confirmed that these practices “contrary to international law and violate the unity and integrity of Syrian territory.”
It was also considered “taking advantage of the state of liquidity and vacuum in Syria” in order to “occupy more Syrian lands for a new reality on the ground.”
After announcing the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime yesterday, Sunday, Israel sent tanks across the border to the buffer zone with Syria, declaring that it was a "temporary" step with the aim of ensuring Israel's security and protecting its citizens.
Earlier, on Monday, Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar confirmed that his country had struck "chemical weapons" depots in Syria, coinciding with the military operation launched by Syrian opposition factions supported by Turkey on the regime's positions before announcing its fall and the escape of Bashar al-Assad and his family.
Sa'ar said in a press conference, "We attacked strategic weapons systems, such as remaining chemical weapons or long-range missiles and missiles, so that they do not fall into the hands of extremists."
