“Bye, bye.” A cry that has become familiar and routine, filling the mornings of hospitals in the Gaza Strip.
Every morning, relatives of the martyrs gather in front of the refrigerators to bid farewell to them, before carrying them to their final resting place.
This “ritual” has become routine, as the bodies of victims of Israeli raids, from various regions, are collected in special tents set up in hospital courtyards, before being sent to mortuaries, to be shrouded and prepared for burial.
