Al-Julani appoints Abu Qasra as Minister of Defense and discusses merging the factions

The Commander-in-Chief of the Military Coordination Room, Ahmed al-Sharaa, nicknamed Abu Muhammad al-Julani, announced that all military factions will be merged into one institution under the management of the Ministry of Defense in the new Syrian army, in a move aimed at unifying the military forces and organizing them within an institutional framework.
>In the same context, the statement stated that engineer Murhaf Abu Qasra was assigned to serve as Minister of Defense in the Syrian Interim Government.
Abu Qasra holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering, and worked as a military capabilities engineer in the liberated areas since the start of the armed operations, where he led most of the operations.
