Hamas published a new video of a 19-year-old hostage, in which she says that her survival is linked to the withdrawal of the Israeli army.
In the video posted by Hamas on its Telegram channel, which is 3 minutes and 34 seconds long, the girl, Liri Albag, said: “We are not a priority for our government or our army.”
Albag called on the Israeli government to stop the war: “I ask you, government of Israel, if your loved ones were the ones in captivity, would the war have continued until now? Do you want to kill us?”
She added: “Even the world has begun to forget us... Our survival is linked to the army’s withdrawal and its failure to reach us.”
The Israeli girl stressed: “You will not be able to get us out of here alive with military operations. This will not succeed and you know that.”
The recording showed a scene of the Israeli hostage placing her face on her hands, crying, while she sent a direct message to Defense Minister Israel Katz, saying: “You know my father. Look into his eyes, and tell him that he and my mother will never hug their daughter again... You will not have the courage.” Therefore".
Albaj attacked the ongoing bombing of Gaza, and said: “It is crazy to think that this method will lead to results... We live under insane bombing daily. Do you know what life is like in a place you bomb and there is no shelter?”
At the end of her message, the hostage said: “If anything happens to me, remember me and remember my name... so that it may be written on my grave: All of this is because of the government and the army.”
Liri Albag confirmed that she has been detained in Gaza for more than 450 days.
Hamas published the video in light of the faltering indirect negotiations with Israel, to push for an agreement that would lead to a ceasefire
