The first Saudi relief plane arrived at Al-Arish International Airport in the Arab Republic of Egypt today carrying various relief aid, including food and shelter materials with a total weight of 35 tons, in preparation for transporting them to those affected inside the Gaza Strip.
The first Saudi relief plane comes within the popular campaign to provide relief to the brotherly Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, directed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
At the forefront of the plane's reception were the Deputy Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdul Rahman bin Salem Al-Dahas, and the Saudi Consul General in Suez, Khaled bin Ali Al-Shamrani.
This aid is an extension of the Kingdom’s support for Palestine in various humanitarian and relief sectors, and an embodiment of the great humanitarian role that the Kingdom plays through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Relief Center towards brotherly and friendly countries in various crises and tribulations
