Dozens of trucks carrying humanitarian aid entered the Gaza Strip on Sunday, the first day the ceasefire entered into force.
Al-Auja and Kerem Shalom crossings also witnessed on Sunday 12 trucks loaded with diesel fuel and 4 gas trucks.
The "Al-Auja" crossing, known as "Nitsana" in Israel, is located about 40 kilometers south of the Rafah crossing, which is the main crossing between Egypt and the Gaza Strip.
As for the “Kerem Shalom” crossing, or “Kerem Shalom” as it is known in Israel, it is the main commercial crossing for the Gaza Strip, and was used before the outbreak of war on October 7, as a passage for the largest percentage of truck loads heading to Gaza.< /p>
The ceasefire agreement in Gaza stipulated the entry of 600 trucks into the Strip, including 50 loaded with fuel.
Today, Sunday, the US President revealed that about 700 aid trucks will enter the Gaza Strip.
