Officially... Donald Trump is the 47th President of America

Amid a crowd of American officials and foreign guests, US President-elect Donald Trump was sworn in, marking his official assumption of office.
Trump thus began his second presidential term in a rare event, as he took over the presidency from outgoing President Joe Biden after he handed it to him 4 years ago.
Thus, Trump returns to the White House in a rare event, preceded by the late President Grover Cleveland, who was the first American president to assume the presidency for two separate terms (1884-1888) and (1892-1896), but this tradition was not implemented.

Trump won the presidential elections that took place on November 5, beating Biden's deputy, Kamala Harris, after an election campaign that witnessed great excitement and two assassination attempts on Trump.
Trump stood to take the constitutional oath while placing his hand on two copies of the Bible carried by his wife, Melania Trump, including a copy belonging to the late President Abraham Lincoln and the other given to Trump by his mother when he was nine years old.
Trump's swearing-in was preceded by the swearing-in of his vice president, J.D. Vance, and his wife, Osha Vance, and his children stood beside him.
