"A different picture" .. Al -Golani meets a Syrian women's delegation

The head of the new Syrian administration, Ahmed Al-Sharaa, nicknamed Abu Muhammad Al-Julani, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Asaad Al-Shaibani, met with a women’s delegation from the Syrian community in the United States.
Only this information, which was published by the official SANA agency, was copied dozens of times, along with a photo of Al-Julani with the women’s delegation, in posts on social media.
Many Syrians interacted with the image, some of them treated it with sarcasm, and others saw in it a “change.”
The pictures circulating of Al-Julani with a group of Syrian women are striking, because many of them do not wear a head covering (the hijab).
It comes weeks after a video sparked huge controversy in which Al-Julani appeared asking a girl to cover her hair before he responded to her desire to take a picture with him.
Controversy was also renewed among Syrians a few days ago, due to leaflets and banners that were hung in Damascus, some of which showed descriptions of the “veiled woman” dress code and others talked about the “free woman” dress code.
A scene that was greeted with ridicule by some social media users, while others were concerned about personal freedoms.
