Turkey condemned, today (Wednesday), with an Israeli raid that killed three of its citizens while trying to cross the border illegally between Lebanon and Israel.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement: “It turned out that the three Turkish citizens who were contacted while trying to cross illegally from Lebanon to Israel were killed by an Israeli air strike in the region.”
The ministry did not specify the location of the strike specifically.
Ankara announced that it is working to return their bodies to Türkiye, “as soon as possible.”
The ministry said: “In the strongest terms, we condemn this illegal attack that caused the killing of our citizens,” calling on Israel to “end its aggressive policies that ignore human life and increase tensions in the region, immediately.”
