Qatar welcomed the "steps" announced by the Department of Military Operations in Syria, considering that it "aims to restructure the Syrian state" and "enhance compatibility and unity between all Syrian parties, in a way that paves the way for consolidating civil peace, security, stability and building a state of law And institutions, development and prosperity.
The Qatari Foreign Ministry said that "the current articulated stage in Syria requires the state's monopoly of weapons in one army that expresses all components without exclusion, in order to preserve the country's sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, and in a way that paves the way for a peaceful transfer of power through a comprehensive political process. >
The Ministry renewed "Qatar's full support for Syria in all fields, and its effective contribution to regional and international efforts aimed at achieving the aspirations of the Syrian people."
