The Israeli Finance Minister attacked the people of Gaza and described them as "supporters of Hamas."

According to the Hebrew site "Sumujim", Smotrich added in his speech at the meeting of his "Religious Zionist" bloc in the Knesset, that "the Gaza war cannot end before Hamas completely destroyed."

He said, "Our government believes in the approach of peace, but through strength, and we will not allow the establishment of a Palestinian state for the Arabs in the West Bank and Gaza," as he put it.

Smotrich added: "The Arabs cannot feel after the seventh of October that they will get a reward, we must increase our offensive activity in the West Bank," he said.

The Israeli minister pointed out that "the iron wall in the northern West Bank is a good start," and added: "I congratulate the Minister of Defense, Yisrael Katz, on the new and important spirit he brought to the ministry, and encourages him to deepen it."

Smutrich called on the leaders of the Israeli army, “to attack all fronts, abandon the concept of containment, which was part of the army for many years, appoint attacking generals, liberation from the paralyzed Oslo concept and complete change in the concept of war and leadership” according to its phrase.
