Reuters confirmed that US forces in Syria were attacked at least 4 times within 24 hours.
Reuters, quoting an American military official, said: “American and international forces stationed in northeastern Syria were attacked at least 4 times in less than 24 hours.”
The agency indicated that drones and missiles were used in the attacks, confirming that there were no casualties as a result of the attacks, with minor damage to the infrastructure.
Earlier, the "Islamic Resistance in Iraq" announced that it had targeted a US Army base in the Green Village in Deir ez-Zor, northeastern Syria, with a drone.
A statement issued by the "Islamic Resistance" stated: "The Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted the American occupation base in the Green Village in the depths of Syria, with a drone, which directly hit its target."
Fox News, citing a Pentagon source, reported that at least six people were killed as a result of US strikes on Iranian Revolutionary Guard facilities in Syria on Monday night.
US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin confirmed that US forces attacked two targets of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and pro-Iranian groups in eastern Syria in response to the ongoing bombing of US forces in the Middle East.
