The White House commented, on Saturday, that Iran refused to invite US President Donald Trump to negotiate a nuclear agreement.
The White House National Security Council spokesman, Brian Hughes, said in a statement: "We hope that the Iranian regime will put its people and interests above terrorism.
The statement stated that Tehran can be dealt with militarily or by concluding an agreement.
