The government office in Gaza announced today (Wednesday) that the death toll from the Israeli bombing of Gaza had risen to 11,500 civilians, including 4,710 children, confirming in a statement that 1,200 massacres were committed by the occupation in Gaza.
He explained that the Israeli raids caused the destruction of 95 government headquarters, as well as 25 hospitals, and 52 health centers that were out of service in Gaza, accusing the Israeli occupation forces of committing a historic crime by storming the Shifa Medical Complex.
The government office urgently and immediately called for the permanent opening of the Rafah crossing, indicating that Gaza is on the cusp of a new crime by announcing the cessation of communications tomorrow due to the lack of fuel.
This coincides with Malta submitting a draft resolution to the Security Council calling for urgent and extended humanitarian truces. According to diplomatic sources, Malta will call for a vote on the draft resolution today, despite Russia’s objection and describing it as unbalanced.
The sources reported that the Security Council will vote later today on a draft resolution calling for the imposition of urgent and extended humanitarian truces and the opening of humanitarian corridors throughout the Gaza Strip for a sufficient number of days to facilitate the arrival of aid.
