The European Union calls on Russia to agree to this matter

European Union Foreign Policy official, Kaya Calas, called on Russia yesterday, Monday, to show goodwill and agree to a ceasefire in Ukraine.
She said that one of the initiatives that Moscow can be undertaken to show goodwill is “the return of Ukrainian children who have been deported to Russia and the release of prisoners of war.”
This came in statements made by Calas before a meeting of the European Union's foreign ministers in Madrid to discuss the war in Ukraine.
Callas also called on the United States to pressure the Kremlin to end the bloody conflict that has continued for three years.
At the same time, French Foreign Minister Jean -Noel Barrow said that Russia should clearly respond to the United States about whether it wants to walk on the path of peace or not.
The disappointment of US President Donald Trump is increasing with no move after efforts to reach a peace agreement and adopt a more reconciliation situation towards Russia, which was cautioned by his European allies.
With regard to the deployment of forces to preserve peace in Ukraine, which is what France and Britain seek, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslav Sikorsky said that it is the Ukrainian government that must decide whether to allow foreign forces on its lands and the date of that.
