The PKK announced, in Türkiye, the dissolution of itself, the surrender of weapons, the departure of its leaders, the Qandil Mountains, the cessation of any military activity against the Turkish state.

A party statement said that the party will be dissolved and completed in three stages as follows:

1) The organization delivers all its weapons and ammunition to the centers determined by the state.

2) All members of the Kurdistan Workers Party will come down from the mountain.

3) The elements that committed the crime are presented to justice.

With this step, Türkiye has got rid of one of its most dangerous problems after about 40 years of conflict with the party.
