The Al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of the Hamas movement, announced today (Sunday) the killing of 4 of its leaders, including the commander of the Northern Brigade in Gaza.
She added in a statement carried by Reuters news agency that the dead were Ahmed Al-Ghandour (Abu Anas), a member of the Military Council and commander of the Northern Brigade, in addition to Wael Rajab, Raafat Salman, and Ayman Siam. The statement pledged to “continue on their path.”
This comes on the third day of the supposed 4-day truce between Israel and Hamas since Israel began its war on the Gaza Strip in response to a surprise attack by the movement on Israel on October 7 last.
