Saudi Arabia announces the downing of a fighter plane and the killing of its crew

The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced, on Thursday, the downing of an F-15SA fighter plane during a training mission and the “martyrdom” of its crew.
Saudi Defense said, in a statement, a copy of which was seen by Al-Ain News, that one of the Royal Saudi Air Force’s F-15SA fighter planes crashed, leading to the “martyrdom” of its crew.
p>The official spokesman for the Ministry of Defense, Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki, said that the plane crash occurred at 12:50 noon on Thursday, while it was carrying out a routine training mission, at King Abdulaziz Air Base in Dhahran.
According to Brigadier General Al-Maliki, an investigation committee began its tasks to find out the details of the causes of the accident, which resulted in the “martyrdom” of the plane’s air crew.
