The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip said that the occupation committed 20 massacres against Palestinian families during the past hours.
The Ministry stated in a press conference by its spokesman, Ashraf Al-Qudra, that it had received dozens of appeals from residents in residential neighborhoods and schools, including the “Khalifa” School in the Beit Lahia project, north of Gaza, where the occupation soldiers committed a massacre in which dozens of martyrs and injuries were claimed.
It announced that 210 martyrs and 2,300 wounded had arrived at hospitals during the past hours, and confirmed that a large number of martyrs and missing persons are still under the rubble in light of the lack of equipment and the targeting of ambulance and civil defense crews.
She said that the number of martyrs of the aggression rose to 17,700 martyrs and the wounded to 48,780.
It confirmed that the occupation army continues to attack hospitals and medical staff, and revealed a crime committed by occupation snipers by killing and wounding a number of pregnant women who had gone to Kamal Adwan Hospital, in the northern Gaza Strip. Al-Qudra said: Pregnant women in northern Gaza cannot Accessing the maternity service at Al Awda Hospital, which will kill them and their fetuses.
He stressed that the residents of northern Gaza “are subjected to extermination from house to house and from school to school, and the wounded are left to die as a result of the siege of hospitals and their out of service,” as he put it. He pointed out that the occupation arrested three paramedics during the past hours and seized ambulances, and warned against the occupation army using them in its aggressive operations in the Gaza Strip.
It was reported that the occupation army is still arresting 36 health personnel, including the head of Al-Shifa Hospital, Dr. Muhammad Abu Salamiya.
He continued: The aggression led to the martyrdom of 295 health personnel, and the occupation targeted 132 health institutions and put 22 hospitals and 46 health centers out of service as well
The Ministry’s spokesman appealed to medical teams around the world, especially those specializing in orthopedic surgery, to go to the Gaza Strip to rescue the wounded. In a related context, he stressed that “the mechanism used to exit the wounded is still restricted and sterile and contributes to the killing of hundreds of wounded,” and called for “the establishment of a mechanism.” effective treatment abroad to preserve their lives.”
He added: We appeal to health personnel, retirees, graduates and students from all health specialties to join work immediately in the northern hospitals, Nasser Medical Complex, and the Gaza European Hospital in Khan Yunis.
He reiterated his call on health partners to “establish medical points and mobile clinics to care for the displaced in the western regions of Khan Yunis and Rafah,” and said: We call on international institutions to quickly provide blood virus testing materials to ensure the safety of blood units and their safe transport to the wounded and sick, and to provide a safe humanitarian corridor. To allow large quantities of medical aid and fuel to enter and reach all hospitals, and to provide medication and fuel needs to operate the Al-Shifa Medical Complex, which represents the only hope for the needs of the wounded and sick in northern Gaza.
