After announcing the death of the Emir of Kuwait... Who is the Crown Prince Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah?

Sheikh Meshaal assumed the crown prince on October 8, 2020, with the high recommendation of the late Emir, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, and the pledge of allegiance to the National Assembly.
Sheikh Meshaal was born in 1940 and grew up in the ruling house, as he is the seventh son of the former ruler of Kuwait. Sheikh Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the brother of three rulers: Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
He received his education at Al-Mubarakiya School, which is the first regular school in the State of Kuwait, and he joined Hindon College in The United Kingdom to study police sciences, from which he graduated in 1960. After graduating, he joined the Ministry of the Interior, and rose through the ranks until he became in 1967 the head of the General Investigations at that time with the rank of (colonel), and he continued in that position until 1980, and during his reign it was transformed into " “State Security Service,” and this body still bears this name to this day.
He was appointed, pursuant to Decree No. (12/2004) issued on April 13, 2004, as Deputy Chief of the National Guard with the rank of Minister until he assumed the Crown Prince.
Sheikh Mishal is married. He has 5 male and 7 female children.
