Sources: Israel and Hamas are open to a ceasefire and prisoner exchange

Two Egyptian security sources said on Sunday that Israel and Hamas are open to renewing the ceasefire and releasing detainees, but there are still disagreements about how to implement it, according to what Reuters reported.
The two sources added: “(Hamas) insists on a complete ceasefire and the cessation of flights in the Gaza Strip as a main condition for accepting negotiations... in addition to the retreat of Israeli forces to some lines on the ground in the Gaza Strip.” They said: “(Hamas) has expressed its agreement to complete the hostage handover truce with a list determined by the movement and not imposed on it by anyone.”
They added: “Israel was forced to agree to a list of civilian hostages determined by (Hamas), but Israel requested a timetable and a list of hostages... In the negotiations, Israel agrees to the ceasefire demand, but refuses to back down.”
Israeli sources said that the war council in Israel will discuss a new approach to a new and complex prisoner exchange deal with Hamas. Israeli Channel 12 said that Tel Aviv has crystallized a proposal that may include a “large humanitarian package” demanding the release of the remaining women in Hamas custody, the sick, the wounded, and the elderly, in exchange for a broader release of Palestinian prisoners from Israeli prisons. The proposal also includes a ceasefire. Temporarily fire, and bring aid into the Gaza Strip
