7 Israeli soldiers were killed in Gaza... and the number rose to 129

The Israeli army announced today, Monday, that 7 soldiers were killed in the ongoing battles in the Gaza Strip.
He explained that two officers were killed today, one in the north of the Gaza Strip and the second in the south, according to what was reported by the Times of Israel newspaper.
The newspaper also reported that the army had announced this morning that 5 more soldiers had been killed yesterday, 4 of them in battle and the fifth succumbing to wounds he sustained in operations in Gaza. It said that four of these deaths occurred in battles in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, while the fifth was killed in the north.
The newspaper added that this brings the number of Israeli army deaths since the start of ground operations in the Gaza Strip to 129.
The war broke out in Gaza following an unprecedented attack launched by Hamas from the Strip in southern Israel on October 7, which resulted in the killing of about 1,140 people, most of them civilians, the majority of whom died on the first day, according to Israeli authorities’ figures.
In response, Israel carried out intense bombing operations on the Strip and launched a ground offensive, killing at least 18,800 people, the majority of them women and children, according to the Hamas Ministry of Health.
