The Israeli army announced, on Friday, that four people were injured in a car ramming attack carried out by a Palestinian near a military site at the Al-Fawwar camp junction, south of the city of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, noting that army personnel in the area paralyzed the attacker’s movement.
The Israeli army said in a statement, “A ramming attack occurred near a military site near the Adorayim Junction (Al-Fawar Camp),” adding, “The soldiers who were operating in the area paralyzed the terrorist’s movement.”
AFP quoted the statement as saying, “Additional soldiers were deployed to reinforce the army’s presence in the region.”
For its part, the Magen David Adom Ambulance Service reported that four people in their twenties were injured, one of them moderately.
The West Bank has witnessed an escalation in violence since the outbreak of war between Israel and a movement in the Gaza Strip on October 7.
