Newspaper: The Israeli army withdraws one of its four combat divisions from Gaza

The Times of Israel newspaper said on Monday that the army had withdrawn one of its four combat divisions from the Gaza Strip, against which Israel has been waging a war for more than 100 days.
The newspaper stated that the army’s withdrawal of the 36th Division from the Gaza Strip comes within the framework of its plans “for a long war with the Hamas movement while maintaining the efficiency of the forces.”
She explained that the forces of this division will take a short break and then resume training, after which the army will decide whether to redeploy it again and where it will be deployed based on the latest assessment.
