The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced that its security services, represented by the State Security Service, had thwarted a plan by a terrorist cell that intended to target places of worship belonging to the Shiite sect and kill people.
The Kuwaiti Interior Ministry said in a statement: Security personnel were able to follow the cell, monitor its movements, and arrest three members of an Arab nationality who belong to a terrorist organization. All defendants were referred to the Public Prosecution to take legal measures against them.
