10 security personnel were killed and others injured in an armed attack in Pakistan
Pakistani police announced on Monday that at least 10 security personnel were killed and 6 others were wounded in an armed attack on a police station in the northwest of the country.
Violence has been escalating in Pakistan over the past few days as the general elections approach this week.
