The Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, announced that his country had received a response from the Hamas movement to the proposals reached at the Paris meeting between representatives of America, Israel, Qatar and Egypt, regarding a prisoner exchange deal between Israel and "Hamas".
The Qatari Prime Minister said, during a press conference with his American counterpart, Anthony Blinken, in Doha: “I would like to inform the media that we have received a response from the Hamas movement regarding the general framework of the parties’ agreement regarding what concerns hostages. The response includes some observations on the framework, but in its entirety Positive response."
He added: “Given the sensitivity of this stage, we cannot go into details, but the response gives us optimism, and it has been delivered to the Israeli side.”
