The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced, on Wednesday, that the toll from the Israeli war on the Strip had risen to 27,708 martyrs and 67,147 injured since last October 7.
This came in a statement that included “the daily report on the number of martyrs and wounded as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression for the 124th day on the Gaza Strip.”
The ministry said: “The toll of the Israeli aggression has risen to 27,708 martyrs and 67,147 injuries since October 7.”
She added: “The Israeli occupation committed 16 massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, claiming 123 martyrs and 169 injuries during the past 24 hours.”
The Ministry also stated that “there are still a number of victims under the rubble and on the roads, and the occupation is preventing ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.”
This comes as the Israeli war on Gaza enters its fifth month, and most of its victims are children and women, according to the Palestinian authorities, and it has also caused “massive destruction and an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe,” according to the United Nations.
