The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced, on Sunday, the execution of a “haddda” death sentence against 5 Saudi perpetrators in the Riyadh region, on charges of killing another citizen, according to a ministry statement published by the Saudi Press Agency, “SPA.”
The Saudi Ministry of Interior said in its statement: “Mishaal bin Ali bin Muhammad Walbi, Ibrahim bin Abdullah bin Ali bin Sayed Al-Masawi, Sultan bin Muhammad bin Gharamah Al-Asmari, Abeer bint Ali bin Dhafer Al-Muhammad Al-Amri, and Bayan bint Hafez presented Bin Ali Siddiq, a Saudi national, for killing Khaled bin Dalak bin Muhammad Hamzi, a Saudi national, by luring him to a house, taking him at gunpoint, tying him, robbing him, electrocuting him, beating him with an iron, an electric wire, and his hands, and throwing him in a secluded place, causing his death, and kidnapping another. Assaulting and robbing him, and forming a gang that specializes in luring people, robbing them, and assaulting them, and consuming cannabis, Xanex and Lyrica tablets, which are subject to medical regulation,” according to SPA.
The Saudi Ministry of Interior added that “the security authorities were able to arrest the aforementioned perpetrators, and their investigation resulted in them being accused of committing their crimes, and by referring them to the competent court, an instrument was issued against them proving their guilt for what was attributed to them, and because what the defendants did of Spreading corruption on the land and trespassing on money and people without right is considered a form of hostility, and due to the presence of multiple precedents for most of the defendants, they were sentenced to the punishment of hostility, and their punishment is death. The ruling was upheld by the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court, and a royal order was issued to enforce what was decided. According to Sharia law, it was supported by his authority to impose the punishment of banditry against the aforementioned people, and that this should be by killing them,” according to the agency.
The Saudi Ministry of Interior confirmed in its statement that “the death sentence has been carried out against the perpetrators, Mishaal bin Ali bin Muhammad Walbi, Ibrahim bin Abdullah bin Ali bin Sayed Al-Masawi, Sultan bin Muhammad bin Gharamah Al-Asmari, and Abeer bint Ali bin Dhafer Al Muhammad Al-Amri.” And Bayan Bint Hafez bin Ali Siddiq, a Saudi national, Sunday, 8/1/1445 AH, corresponding to 2/11/2024 AD, in the Riyadh region, as reported by SPA.
