Saudi Arabia: Establishing a Palestinian state is the only way to secure the region

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan said on Saturday that the only path to security and stability in the Middle East, including in Israel, is to establish a Palestinian state.
The Saudi Foreign Minister added during a dialogue session on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference: “We are working to achieve a ceasefire and Israel’s withdrawal of its forces from the Gaza Strip.”
The Saudi Foreign Minister added:
The priority now is to end the humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip.
What Israel is doing in Gaza will push a new generation towards extremism.
The only path towards security and stability in the region is the establishment of a Palestinian state.
We are now focusing on the ceasefire and Israel’s withdrawal from the Gaza Strip.
