The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported, this evening, Thursday, that explosions were heard in the area of the American base in the Al-Omar oil field, in Deir ez-Zor in eastern Syria.
He added that this came in conjunction with the flight of American aircraft over the airspace of the areas adjacent to the positions of the Iranian factions in the Deir ez-Zor countryside, according to the “Arab World News Agency.”
Armed factions previously announced the targeting of American military bases in Iraq and Syria, while saying that it was a response to the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip that has been ongoing since the seventh of last October, after the attack launched by “Hamas” on Israel.
The Syrian Observatory said, yesterday, Wednesday, that more than 10 people were injured by “unknown” explosions at sites of pro-Iranian groups, south of the city of Deir ez-Zor, amid reports of non-Syrian deaths, and that this came after the pro-Iranian groups resumed their attacks. On the American bases in Syria, after they stopped for about a week.
