The Saudi Ministry of Interior said in a statement on Tuesday that seven people were executed in Riyadh this week, due to their alleged links to terrorism, establishing and financing terrorist organizations, and conspiring with these groups to destabilize security in the Kingdom.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Interior, the executions began on February 17 and ended on Tuesday.
The Ministry of Interior said in a statement that the seven men were executed because they “committed criminal acts that involved betraying their country, threatening its stability, and endangering its security.”
The statement added that they were adopting “a terrorist approach that calls for bloodshed, creating and financing terrorist organizations and entities, and communicating with them and dealing with them with the aim of disrupting the security of society and its national unity.”
